Cycling

Whether you are new to biking or have already raced, you can join the Pacers during our bike-meet-up rides.  We ride to nearby communities and take advantage of many quiet, yet smooth, country roads. Enjoy the scenery as you complete the journey at a comfortable pace and obtain an effective workout at the same time. Some of our rides include lunch at a destination point before we head back. We also have club members who meet and ride together in some local area races, 60k up to 160k. Combining biking and cycling may lead to you competing in a duathlon (or add in some swimming and compete in a triathlon). Biking is an excellent form of cross training to help meet your running goals and at the same time, building your body stronger to help avoid injury.
